About us

A family craft since 1979, every moorti made with bhakti

Shree Radhe Govind Arts began in 1979 as a small family workshop. Today our karigars carve moortis for homes, temples and trusts across India and abroad. Each piece is shaped by hand with chisels, polished for days, then painted and dressed with gold leaf, so the moorti is ready for pran pratishtha the day it reaches you.

We still work the way we started: one moorti at a time, with the family checking every face before it leaves the workshop.

Questions

Before you order

Answers to what families and temple committees ask us most. Can't find yours? Ask us on WhatsApp and we usually reply within 10 minutes.

How much does a marble moorti cost?

Price depends on the deity, size, detailing and finish. A painted 12 inch moorti costs far less than a 4 ft temple moorti with gold leaf. Share your choice on WhatsApp and we send an exact quote with photos the same day.

How long does it take to make?

Ready pieces ship in 3 to 5 days. Custom moortis usually take 3 to 6 weeks, and large temple moortis can take longer. We give you a date with the quote.

Can you make a moorti from my photo?

Yes. Send any photo or drawing and we prepare a sketch first. Carving starts only after you approve it.

Do you deliver outside my city or abroad?

We deliver across India and ship overseas. Every moorti is packed in a wooden crate with foam lining and sent insured.

Will the moorti be ready for pran pratishtha?

Yes. Moortis are finished to traditional proportions and can be consecrated by your pandit ji on arrival. We can also guide temple committees on installation.

Where is your marble moorti shop in Jaipur?

We have two shops in Chandpol Bazar, Jaipur 302001: 2900, Bhindo ka Rasta, near Police Chowki, and Shop no. 226, Baba Harishchandra Marg. Both are open every day from 10 am to 8 pm. Call +91 73405 43586 before you visit.

Which marble do you use for moortis?

We carve in white marble, mostly Makrana and other fine-grain white marble from Rajasthan. Every moorti is carved from a single block, so there are no joints in the deity.

How do I choose the right moorti size?

Measure the height of your mandir niche and choose a moorti that leaves about a quarter of that height free above the crown. Home mandir shelves suit 6 to 12 inch, pooja rooms 12 to 24 inch, large halls 24 to 48 inch, and temples 4 ft and above.

How do I clean and care for a marble moorti?

Wipe it with a soft, dry cotton cloth. After abhishek, rinse with clean water and dry it fully. Avoid lemon, vinegar, soap and chemical cleaners, which can dull or stain marble.
